My role: UX/UI Design, User Testing and Analysis
A cross-functional collaboration to create a one-stop shop for requesting a leave of absence from work, tracking your adminstrative tasks, and preparing for your return.
Learning about or requesting a leave of absence (for illness, pregnancy, or other) required people to visit multiple destinations, with each stage handled by a different business function. People needed to traverse the business without guidance.
A cross-functional partnership including Human Resources, IT, and our design team worked together at every step. The design team was responsible for bringing alignment on principles, designing the interface, and testing with users.
People were better informed and got through the process with greater ease, and the business was saved significant time in walking people through the process and handling errors.
Learn about taking leaves, start the request process, and activate your leave in one place.
A visual interface for modeling your leave options and learning about them.
Keep track of what you need to do to go on leave, and prepare for your return to work.
I formulated our testing plan, tested with users, and synthesized feedback into actionable items.
A good vision can unite.
Cross-functional collaboration works best when everyone is aligned to a clear, common goal.
