Ginmann ('JIN-mahn') is a Korean name that means "full of truth." I have a talent for championing truth and sifting clarity out of ambiguity. I'm not just a designer of beautiful screens, but a leader who can guide design teams and businesses in the right way to get to those screens.
I love spending time with family, photography, reading, writing, walking, tennis, basketball, and traveling.
Design Diaries is a series where I review and draw lessons from consumer products of all kinds.

Degree in Cognitive Science (2008)
At Brown University, I majored in Cognitive Science, the spark that lit my interest in human thought, behavior, and experience. At the time, I didn't know where it would lead.
City Year (2008-2015)
I began in Graphic Design, designing print materials for a national education non-profit. I learned how to lay out text on a page and create emotion and meaning. I also learned about the power of branding.
Accenture (2015-present)
As Creative Director and Business Designer, I oversee the creative execution of our design team, and work with the business to clarify goals through prototyping, design thinking, and design research.
